Hello, my name is Sara!

I grew up in Pennsylvania, but Northern Virginia has been my home since 1999. I graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Art History and later earned my Nursing degree from George Mason University. After working as an Emergency Department Nurse and Nurse Manager for over a decade, I completed my Masters in Nursing at The George Washington University. Additionally, I became a certified health and wellness coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition.

My background in the arts, combined with my bedside experience, allows me to critically think and guide patients on topics of medicine and mindset. I am passionate about helping patients overcome their limiting beliefs so they can be their healthiest selves in mind, body, and spirit.

In my free time, I love reading and sharing my latest book recommendations. Traveling with my 7-year-old daughter is one of my greatest joys. My goal for 2024 is to pet every nice dog I see.
