Hello! My name is Troy!

Having attended Weber State University for a BS in Nutrition Education, I have a special interest in exercise and nutritional science. I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes as a teenager, and overcoming its daily challenges has defined my life. I hope to use my personal experience in this regard to help others.

I am a recent Colorado transplant, and, as such, beholden to the outdoors and sunlight. I am a hiker and avid runner and even compete in triathlons during the summer months with my family. When I am not outside, I enjoy board games, creative writing, and the occasional Master Chef season binge.

I have many goals for which I am striving. One of these goals is to receive a Master’s Degree in Dietetics and become a Certified Diabetes Care & Education Specialist (CDCES). Beyond the professional scope, however, I hope to grow my skills as a chef, and (maybe) one day become a published novelist.

I am excited to be a part of the Gajer Practice, and look forward to seeing your success!
