The Gajer Practice Blogs

January 2, 2024

Dear Reader,

Welcome to 2024! This month, I extend a warm invitation to join the Gajer Practice team as we embark on a journey to bid farewell to refined sugars throughout January.

Our challenge is designed to set the tone for a promising start to the year, fostering mutual support as we navigate this beneficial change together. The rules are straightforward and can seamlessly complement any dietary plan you follow, and participation incurs no cost.

Refined sugars often lead to unwelcome symptoms such as weight management challenges, reduced stress resilience, disrupted sleep patterns, heightened anxiety, compromised immunity, irritability, and energy slumps.

Rest assured, we are here to guide you through the process, offering support during challenging moments.

Rules of Engagement:

  • Eliminate the addition of sugar/honey/maple syrup to any foods or beverages.

Avoid:

  • Candies
  • Desserts
  • Sweets
  • Sugar-added drinks
  • Emphasize whole foods whenever possible—these consist of single-ingredient items sourced from nature.
  • If opting for artificial sweeteners, choose stevia.
  • If your dietary plan permits, consume fruits, starches, and flour products in moderation.

We’re here to uplift and encourage you throughout, eagerly anticipating your remarkable progress and experiences.

Let’s embrace this challenge together and revel in the positive outcomes it brings!

Warm regards,

Dr. Gajer and the team
